Dr. Zhijie Zhao

I build computational tools for high-energy physics, from Monte Carlo event-generator studies to AI-assisted research workflows and automated data analysis.

About Me

I am a particle physicist working across Monte Carlo event generators, effective field theory, collider physics, and physics beyond the Standard Model.

My research combines theoretical studies with numerical simulation, which has shaped my programming work in C++, Fortran, Python, automation, and data-focused tooling.

I am also interested in machine learning and artificial intelligence, especially where these methods can accelerate research discovery and analysis in particle physics.
